Rumors by Neil Simon

Last Resort Players presents Neil Simon's ribald farce, Rumors. The modern comedy about an anniversary party gone terribly wrong will be performed in the arena theatre. Rumors beings with the arrival of the first of four couples at a Bay Area townhouse only to discover that their host has shot himself-in the ear lobe-and the hostess has gone missing. Frantic to cover up this unexplained disaster as the other guests arrive, the deceits pile up, becoming more elaborate, incredible and hilarious, concluding with a final fraud so absurd that it must be true.
