Enjoy an afternoon of late Classical symphonic works composed in Vienna during the early careers of Beethoven, Krommer, and Schubert.
These three symphonies were composed within 15 years of each other and all three composers were influenced by each other's works. Come hear how a full wind section, including clarinets, trumpets, horns, and timpani, changed the sound scape of the Classical symphony forever!
Winners of the fourth annual High School Baroque Artist Residency Competition will also perform with the Raleigh Camerata on Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C Major. Hear the delightful sounds of classical flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, trumpets, and horns with a full string orchestra
