Locals Unplugged is back with this special "Teacher Feature" Showcase featuring two of our beloved teachers at The Front Porch!

A longtime staple of the Charlottesville music scene, 29-year-old singer/songwriter Theocles is ditching his iconic loop pedal for an intimately acoustic show to celebrate his most recent EP, "Grow". The three songs on "Grow" are written for and about three of the most important people in his life--one for his sibling, one for his partner, and one for his mom. Known mostly for his catchy melodies and eclectic folk/soul/pop sound, for this unique performance Theocles is pulling out all his most personal songs, stories, and vocals, sharing repertoire not usually seen at his lively one-man-band looping shows and rousing jams with his backing band. Join Theocles for a truly special evening of music that highlights life, love, loss, social change, and more. 

Chris Matthews is a Charlottesville-based singer-songwriter originally from South Africa and a longtime Front Porch teacher, now stepping into performing and releasing his original music.
