Starring Sally Olson as Karen Carpenter and Ned Mills as Richard Carpenter, Carpenters Legacy: A Christmas Portrait, transports audiences back to the warmth and nostalgia of an old-fashioned Christmas. Inspired by the Carpenters’ beloved Christmas television specials, the production recreates the magic of the season with timeless holiday favorites including “Merry Christmas, Darling,” “Sleigh Ride” and “The Christmas Song,” alongside many of the Carpenters’ greatest hits, plus Karen’s famous drum solo and Richard’s dazzling classical piano feature.

Filled with cherished music, festive memories and the unmistakable sound and spirit of Karen and Richard Carpenter, A Christmas Portrait is a heartwarming holiday experience for audiences of all ages.

Carpenters Legacy maintains a residency at the V Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and has played to sold-out audiences at theaters, performing arts centers and casinos across the country.

The production was selected as featured entertainment for both the Carpenters 50th and 55th Anniversary Celebrations, is a seven-time Best of Las Vegas winner and a two-time TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award recipient. In 2025, Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley proclaimed September 5 “Carpenters Legacy Day.”
