The Book As Art v.14: Ghosted - Artist Talk ft. Kate Binzen & Esther Ervin

 

Join us for an in-person Artist Talk for The Book As Art v.14: Ghosted, featuring two artists whose work is in the show, Kate Binzen and Esther Ervin. This talk will take place in the Fourth Floor Gallery of Decatur Library and is a great time to see the exhibit after normal hours!

 

The library will be closed at the time of the event. Please enter through the First Floor, rear doors (from the top of the parking garage) and you'll be directed to the Fourth Floor.

 

A collaboration with Decatur Arts Alliance and the Georgia Center for the Book, the exhibition will be installed in the Fourth Floor Gallery of the Decatur Library from September 11 - October 24, 2026. Gallery Hours are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., beginning on September 12th.

 

About the Exhibition:

 

The Book As Art is an annual juroried exhibition that showcases beautifully made volumes, sculptural and conceptual interpretations, and one-of-a-kind approaches to the book format. Learn more here.

 

About the Decatur Arts Alliance:

 

The Decatur Arts Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that connects residents, businesses, tourists, and artists to increase arts access and engagement in Decatur, Georgia. Through its year-round programming of festivals, arts events, public art projects, and exhibitions, the DAA cultivates a collaborative artistic community. The nonprofit is committed to producing free and low-cost, impactful art experiences focused on uplifting local artists and expanding art engagement.

Please enter through the main level, rear doors (from the top level of the parking lot behind the library). Doors will open at 6:30, before the event starts at 7.
