QUEER MUSIC NIGHT!

Queer Voices Sung
and HannahLuv

Queer Voices Sung

Queer Voices Sung is a classical music project focused on celebrating the queer excellence that goes unsung in our genre. Classical music has always been queer art, and it is rarely showcased as such. The inside jokes, the delicately disguised yearning; we strive to bring these elements of the music out from in between the lines! QVS takes a light-hearted, joyful approach to celebrating queer history through the lens of performance. The concert series features music by both classic and contemporary queer composers sung by our exceptional LGBTQ+ performers.

HannahLuv

HannahLuv is an independent queer artist from Harlem, New York. She draws inspiration from her favorite artists like Liz McAlpine and Phoebe Bridgers. When living in London HannahLuv performed at Ram Jam Records in Kingston where she wrote her most popular song, "I Fell In Love With The Sun." Her music often takes inspiration from cities she has visited, like Dublin, where every bar was playing an old Irish folk song. She hopes to continue making indie folk music for the queer community and anyone in need of something to relate to.
