ABOUT SIGNAL FIRE:
Signal Fire has been blazing a trail in the US reggae scene for the past decade. Hailing from the East Coast, in the coastal town of Wilmington, NC, the rock-reggae outfit has been steadily making a name for themselves with a DIY approach and dedication to their craft. Since forming in 2013, Signal Fire has released 4 full length albums of modern roots reggae music. Their sophomore album, “Lift Up” (Mixed & Co-produced by Llamar “Riff Raff” Brown) reached #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts. The bands third album “Wake Up” (produced & mixed in their home studio by the bands frontman, Sean Gregory) reached #8 on the Billboard reggae charts. Their latest body of work “Rhythm of Life” is a collection of songs recorded and released during the pandemic and has become their best received album to date. Signal Fire’s music is constantly evolving, with a maintained focus on positive and thoughtful lyrical content.
The bands energetic and uplifting live show has placed them on stage and tours with acts such as Stephen Marley, UB40, SOJA, Morgan Heritage, Collie Buddz, Matisyahu, Tribal Seeds, The Movement & more. Relationships built through music have led to song collaborations with notable musicians and bands such as Jesse Royal, The Hip Abduction, The Elovaters, Kenyatta “Jr. Culture” Hill, Fear Nuttin Band, Jah Works, The Ellameno Beat, Gary Dread and revered Jamaican saxophonist Dean Fraser.

Brooklyn-based artist/producer Double Tiger (aka Jay Spaker) is no stranger to critical acclaim. Known for his contributions with trendsetting reggae powerhouse John Brown’s Body, as well as his role as half of Tour De Force, and co-founder of Dub Stuy Records, Spaker is also recognized for his past collaborations with legendary artists such as Luciano, Johnny Osbourne, Sly & Robbie, Rankin Joe, Brother Culture, Omar Perry, Al Campbell. Lutan Fyah, Eek A Mouse, and Scientist.

Independent Reggae Artist Mighty Joshua engages audiences by opening minds and activating bodies through song. Conscious lyrics flow freely to create distinctive refrains that pulse with pride against rhythms rooted in percussion. His soulful exploration in the evolution of sound creates an expression of reggae for the modern day.
Mighty Joshua plays in a multitude of arrangements including high energy live performances with support of his back-up band and at times an acoustic configuration.
