4th Annual Valentines and Birthday Jazz Celebration with Special Guests—the “Top of the Class” Barbershop Quartet—from the Purdue Glee Club!

Dixieland Jazz is the foundation of America’s Music. From New Orleans to Chicago, the center stripe of the United States was the hothouse of the jazz movement, and Indiana has a storied history of contributions to this great musical movement. IndyDixie honors this legacy with performances of Dixieland Jazz by some of Indiana’s finest jazz musicians whose development as musicians was steeped in this historic music. The performances are authentic, engaging and fun.

Joining IndyDixie is the “Top of the Class” Barbershop Quartet from Purdue’s critically acclaimed Glee Club. This recently formed specialty ensemble sings barbershop classics and vocal jazz standards with influences like “The Four Freshman."

Order of Events:
-11:30 am: Doors open and brunch begins
-1:00pm - 2:15pm: Jeff Conrad and IndyDixie perform
-2:15pm - 2:30pm: Intermission
-2:30pm - 3:00pm: "Top of the Class" Barbershop Quartet performs
-3:00pm - 3:45pm: Jeff Conrad and IndyDixie perform
-2:50pm: Brunch Ends
