For the 10th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.

There are few places along America’s Pacific Coast like Shore Acres State Park with its manicured gardens and magnificent Holiday Lights show in what was once the estate of the civic-minded lumber baron and artist, Louis J. Simpson (1877-1949). What makes this Oregon State Park so unusual is the vast grassy parkland tucked against the crashing waves, the perfect setting for a 9-foot Steinway to hang at the edge of the western world.

Please note: There is a $10.00 per day parking fee at Shore Acres State Park. Cash only, credit and debit cards not accepted.

Concert FAQs:

Seating 
Bring your own chairs or blankets.
No seating provided.

Accessibility
The walk from the parking area to the concert site is less than 150 ft. Most paths are paved to and around the concert site which is a fairly even grassy terrain.

Food & Beverages
Outside food and drink are permitted. Bring a picnic! No food will be available for purchase at Shore Acres State Park.

Dogs
Not allowed at Shore Acres State Park.  

Smoking
Prohibited at all IN A LANDSCAPE concert sites.

Refunds & Cancellations
All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds unless IN A LANDSCAPE cancels the performance. The show goes on regardless of weather.
