No Part of Nothin’, a Maryland/Washington DC-area based band, plays bluegrass and classic country songs featuring tight harmonies, great stories, original songwriting, and virtuoso lead work by some of the region’s best bluegrass pickers. From the festival stage to local clubs and restaurants, this band is attracting attention. They were named a Wammie (Washington Area Music Award) 2021 finalist for best bluegrass band, and were also nominated as finalists in 2020.
The band features Michelle Murray on vocals and guitar, Jeff Karn on mandolin and vocals, Vince Forcier on bass and vocals, Keith Arneson, a former member of the U.S. Navy band, Country Current, on banjo and vocals and Eddie Dickerson, on fiddle.
The band has received airplay on Bluegrass Country Radio, The Bluegrass Jamboree, and WAMU's Open Mic Program, and performs regularly in the D.C. Metropolitan area, including at the monthly bluegrass music series at Outta the Way Cafe.
They have also appeared at several prestigious venues including The Birchmere, Union Stage, The Sultanna Downrigging Festival, The State Theatre, and the Circa Blue Festival where the opened up for the Seldom Scene.
