Portland Book Festival 2026

THE FESTIVAL FROM THE CITY THAT LOVES TO READ  

This November marks the return of Literary Arts’ Portland Book Festival (PBF), the largest celebration of books and storytelling in the Pacific Northwest. The festival’s largest gathering takes place Saturday, November 7 with more than 100 local, regional, and nationally acclaimed authors gathering for Portland Book Festival in the South Park Blocks.

A General Admission Festival Pass is your ticket to Portland Book Festival on November 7. These digital passes are exchanged for wristbands (on or before PBF day) and are required for entry into all Portland Book Festival events at the Park Blocks on November 7 from 10am - 6pm. 

General Admission passes to Portland Book Festival are sold out for 2026, but we still want to celebrate with you!  We’re thrilled to offer live music, art, and culinary events throughout the festival week from our arts and culture partners, Cover-to-Cover events, and Readers Night.  

Advance sales for Schnitzer and Newmark events on November 7 have closed. A limited amount of single tickets may be available for walk-up purchase. Please check in at the Box Office Tent on November. Note that you must already have a General Admission pass in order to buy tickets for add-on events.
