Join us for a (rescheduled!) conversation with Mike Glenn to celebrate the exhibition The Mike Glenn Collection presents 250 Years of African American History. Pieces from his curated collection will be on display in the Fourth Floor Gallery through February 28th. This multi-media exhibition honors the lives and achievements of African Americans through historical documents, periodicals, and photographs.
This talk will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel! https://youtube.com/live/jq2OEKbGJT0?feature=share
This event will take place on the Fourth Floor of Decatur Library. Take the elevator on the right to 4, or take the other elevator to the 3rd floor and switch. There will be signs. There is free parking behind the library, as well as other parking options in Decatur. Please note that due to new security protocols, you must enter the library through the upper level, rear doors. Please allow extra time for arrival.
See the show during Gallery Hours: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Thanks to the Friends of Decatur Library, DeKalb Country Public Library, the Georgia Center for the Book, and Mike Glen for this exhibition.
