About the Event

Free Outdoor Concerts at The Old Church Concert Hall
Three Thursdays in September | 5–8 PM

Join us outside The Old Church Concert Hall for TOC September Sessions, a free outdoor concert series featuring artists from a variety of musical traditions. Held on three late-summer evenings in downtown Portland, these gatherings invite neighbors, downtown workers, visitors, and music lovers to experience live music, discover new artists, and connect with one another in the heart of the city.

Presented beneath TOC's historic porte cochère, September Sessions continues our commitment to creating free opportunities for people to gather around music and culture. Whether you're heading home from work, exploring downtown, or simply looking for a place to gather on a September evening, you're invited to join us.

Artist lineup to be announced soon. Sign up below and we'll keep you posted as performers are announced and concert details become available.

Free. All ages. Everyone welcome. Seating is limited. Bar service available with ID.

Helping Keep the Music Free

Free music. Shared support.

TOC September Sessions is free to attend thanks to the generosity of people who believe music and community should be accessible to everyone.

The Old Church Concert Hall is a nonprofit organization. Donations help support free concerts, preserve our historic 1882 landmark, and create opportunities for artists and audiences to gather and connect through live music. They also help sustain the exhibitions, conversations, and performances that make this building a cultural home for Portland.

If you're able, please consider making a gift to help keep programs like this free and open to all.

TOC's free programming is made possible through the support of the Oregon Arts Commission, The James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation, The Autzen Foundation, the Joseph E. Weston Fund, The Wyss Foundation, and individual donors who believe music and culture belong to everyone.
