Stone In Love Concert

Alder Grove sits on land that has been part of the southwest Washington landscape for generations. Originally part of the historic Crosby family tree farm — a working tree farm in Cowlitz County, set in the rolling forested foothills west of the Cowlitz River — the property has been thoughtfully transformed into a private open-air event center while preserving the wild, wooded character that makes the Pacific Northwest one of the most photographed regions in the country. Tall native alders give the grove its name, surrounded by Douglas fir, western red cedar, and bigleaf maple that change with every season — from spring wildflowers and bright summer light to crimson fall foliage and crisp winter mornings.

The Crosby family’s stewardship of the land shows in details a newer venue simply can’t replicate: mature tree canopies that took decades to fill in, established garden beds, naturalized paths through the woods, and the soft, settled feeling of a property that has hosted generations of family gatherings. When you book Alder Grove, you’re stepping into that history.
