Frank Lloyd Wright in the 21st Century with Professor Anna Andrzejewski

 

Anna Andrzejewski, the Frank Lloyd Wright Professor of Modern American Architecture at UW–Madison will explore how Wright x1890’s Wisconsin roots shaped his work and why his ideas about nature, technology, and community are still relevant in an age of AI and climate change. 

 

About the Speaker 

 

Anna is Professor in the Department of Art History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A former Director of the Center for Culture, History, and Environment, she is also an affiliate of the Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture, the Department of Geography, and the Department of Architecture (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee). She teaches courses in the history of American art, architecture and material culture.

Taliesin Hillside Theater has limited ADA seating availability. If you have any specific needs, please contact us in advance at programs@taliesinpreservation.org. Taliesin events take place on the historic estate and include walking outside on uneven terrain and gravel walkways and often include stairs with no handrails.

Photography, videography, and audio recording are not allowed during the program. Photography and short-form videos up to 30 seconds, without archival footage and for personal use only, are allowed before and after the program. Equipment, such as tripods and selfie sticks, is not permitted. No other reproductions may be created for commercial use in any way without the express, written consent of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. 
 
While on the property, you may be photographed or videotaped for use by Taliesin Preservation or the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
