2023 Big Ponderoo

Presented by SFF, Big Ponderoo is a brand-new festival celebrating the thriving music and arts community of Sisters, Oregon. The festival will bring Americana and bluegrass music to two stages: Sisters Art Works and Three Creeks Brewing.

To kick off the festivities, Camp Ponderoo, an immersive bluegrass jam camp will be held at Sisters Art Works June 18 - 21.

Throughout the week the Ponderoo Arts Experience will take place with workshops and artist sessions that explore self-expression through the visual arts. The celebration will culminate with two days of live music June 24 & 25. ​

All are welcome to join us for a free community event on Friday, June 23 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm at Sisters Art Works. Attendees can enjoy live music from festival bands Never Come Down and Twisted Pine, food vendors, beer, wine and cider for purchase, art displays and interactive arts events.

Ticket price includes a complimentary commemorative 16 oz. pint cup for ticket holders 21+ ($10 value). This cup must be used when purchasing a beverage at either of the two festival bars located at Sisters Art Works and Three Creeks Brewing Facility; Big Ponderoo is working to reduce the waste generated at our events!

This is a rain or shine event, so dress for the weather, including chilly high desert evenings!

Friday: free community concert 5:30-8:30 (no ticket required)
Saturday: music runs noon - 11:00 PM
Sunday: music runs 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Refunds less ticket fees available through April 23, 2023; no refunds after that date. In the event of cancellation by Big Ponderoo, full refunds will be offered to all ticket buyers.

COVID-19 POLICY: By purchasing a ticket to attend the 2023 Big Ponderoo, ticket buyer acknowledges that they are aware of the contagious nature of COVID-19 and the risk that they may be exposed to or contract COVID-19 anywhere that there is person-to-person contact, including while on premises of and engaging in this event. By attending this event, ticket purchaser knowingly and voluntarily accepts the risk of contracting COVID-19 and acknowledge that their attendance is fully voluntary. Furthermore, attendee agrees to waive and release SFF Inc., its officers, directors, employees, artists, vendors, contractors, and volunteers of all liability. Purchaser agrees to read and comply with the safety precautions associated with the event that are communicated to them by Big Ponderoo.

Big Ponderoo will not require mandatory mask wearing or proof of vaccination for event entry unless required by local, state or federal regulation. Patrons, staff, crew, volunteers and performers may wear masks at their personal discretion. Big Ponderoo recommends that high-risk individuals who choose to attend wear a mask.
