Founded in 1978, the Alaska Wildlife Alliance (AWA) gives a local voice to Alaska’s wildlife by advocating for healthy ecosystems across the state. Every year, we host a winter Hibernation Celebration fundraiser to build support for our wildlife conservation programs across the state. This year, our celebration will be held October 25th at the Matanuska Brewing Company in Midtown Anchorage, and includes live music from the Jangle Bees, a wildlife costume contest (winner gets free beer for a year from Matanuska!), an amazing silent auction, door prizes, a brief presentation on AWA’s work this year, and more! Join us for the chance to win great prizes. All funds support Alaska Wildlife Alliance's wildlife conservation programs across the state. We can’t wait to celebrate Alaska’s wildlife with you!
