IN A LANDSCAPE: Filoli Historic House & Garden

For the 10th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.

Filoli Historic House & Garden, a National Trust for Historic Preservation site, encompasses 654 acres of freshwater springs, redwood forests, wild turkeys, and one of the finest remaining country estates of the 20th century. Situated on the ancestral lands of the Ramaytush Ohlone on the San Francisco Peninsula, Filoli was  built as a private residence in 1917 then opened to the public as a nonprofit organization in 1975.

Concert FAQs:

Seating 
Bring your own low back chairs or blankets.
No seating provided.

Accessibility
It is approx. 1,000 ft on paved and unpaved paths from the parking lot to the concert site. The concert site is on uneven grass.

Food & Beverages
No outside food or drink permitted at Filoli.
Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and light snacks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Dogs
Not allowed at Filoli Historic House & Garden.

Smoking
Prohibited at all IN A LANDSCAPE concert sites.

Refunds & Cancellations
All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds unless IN A LANDSCAPE cancels the performance. The show goes on regardless of weather.
