The Oversteppers ft Davina Jackson are a Charlottesville based reggae roots band whose members have played in The Wailers, Guano Boys, Wild Common, The ‘77z, The Cows, Positive Collective, etc. They have opened for the Wailers and headlined large venues as one of the area’s premier Dance bands, playing island roots music. The Oversteppers are: Davina Jackson (lead vocals) Robinson Hubbard (drums, vocals) Chris Leva (guitar, vocals) Gabe Gavin (bass) Stephen Barling (guitar, vocals) Brandon Collins (keyboards) and Jim Gagnon (percussion)

Hunter + the Gatherers are a collision of heady grooves, turtles-all-the-way-down songwriting and solid instrumental workmanship. Singer Blake Hunter’s virtuosic tenor soars above his spacey guitar work, firmly underpinned by rhythmic vibes provided by longtime rhythm section champions Paul Rosner(drums) and Brian Wahl(bass). Waiting in the wings, keyboardist Eric Knutson fills the empty space like a gooey grilled cheese. Unafraid to reinvent a song every time they count it off, Hunter + the Gatherers promises to be a Charlottesville band to watch.
