2020 South Florida Folk Festival Songwriters' Competition winner Karyn Oliver is part Joan Osborne, a touch of Janis Joplin and a bit of Emmylou Harris – her seductive voice effortlessly oscillates from bluesy soul to country and back. “Cherchez La Femme” a new collection of songs was released in October of 2023. Several songs have already gotten critical acclaim and song awards.

Singer-songwriter Jess Klein – whom the New York Times calls "a songwriter with a voice of unblinking tenacity" – has always used music to dream her way forward. Over multiple decades and 11 albums, Klein has pursued a creative evolution that has seen her delve into her own empowerment for emotional insights, while continuing to refine her eloquently melodic, effortlessly accessible song–craft. Jess has toured the US, Europe and Japan on her own and with such artists as Arlo Guthrie, Josh Ritter, John Fullbright and Jonathan Byrd. She has appeared on Good Morning America and NPR’s All Things Considered and performed at the Newport Folk Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival, and Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. Her live shows explore the musical offerings of many styles - from rock n roll to folk to classic jazz standards. She shares songs of personal healing, growth and change with her audience, always leaving them moved, uplifted, and empowered.
