NICK DACHE & FRIENDS Featuring EVAN MCMILLIAN
NICK DACHE
Nick Dache & The Friends are a soulful rock band that draws influence from acts like John Mayer, Lizzy Mcalpine, and Stephan Day. Nick, who plays guitar and sings, switches between folk inspired finger picking on an acoustic for intimate songs to funk inspired rhythm guitar on his electric. He gets the audience singing and will even perform stunts like backflips to get the crowd excited. While Nick got his start playing and writing for Archie & The Bird Brains, now he has an EP and several singles out under his own name generating over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone. He has played venues like Union District Oyster Bar, Rock & Roll Hotel, Jammin Java, Twin Valley Distillery, and many more. The shows have averaged around 80 ticket sales over the past 2 years. As with any performance, it’s never about the artist but the audience. This act gets everyone singing together, and moving together, in a way they don’t soon forget.

EVAN McMILLIAN, Evan is on a release tour for his new album, "For A Dreamer," which is now available!
My name is Evan McMillian, and I'm a singer-songwriter from California, Kentucky. I started writing songs during the pandemic, which was right around the time I dropped out of college, then started booking my first shows later on in and around the neighboring city of Cincinnati, Ohio. But, before then I had always been an avid music listener since I was very young. My real inspiration for picking up the guitar in the first place came from the music of Jackson C. Frank, and Blaze Foley. I had never heard anything quite like them before and I was instantly hooked, listening to and learning every possible song of theirs that I could. The first song I ever sang in front of anyone was Jackson's song, Blues Run The Game. Once I started finding more contemporary artists such as Damien Jurado, Rayland Baxter, Justin Townes Earle is when I began to write. The first one I wrote was inspired by a family member that passed away, they had actually introduced me to a lot of different music growing up and It was a great influence on me. Later on, that song turned into the title track of my first EP, One Way Or Another. Fast forward a couple of years and now I have a new collection of songs for my first full-length record, For A Dreamer, which I feel is my strongest material to date. It was recorded at Candyland Recording Studio in Dayton, Kentucky, and it is slated for release on August 2nd, 2024.
