“JOE HILL: ALIVE AS YOU AND ME”
This musical play, written by David Simmons of Fermat's Last Theater Company, tells the story of Joe Hill, the legendary organizer and songwriter, his life, death, and martyrdom. The play uses Joe's life as a lens to examine the war between capital and labor from the 1890s to the 1920s and the rise of the Industrial Workers of the World, the Wobblies. Tom Kastle is an actor, singer, and founding member of the Solidarity Sing Along, the longest running protest Sing in the US.
