In this session, we will create a layered tunnel card inspired by woodland stories and autumn magic. As the seasons turn and we move toward winter, this class invites participants to reflect on the small moments in nature that spark joy and calm. Whether it’s a squirrel under a branch, an owl mid-flight, or a child’s footprints in the snow, each layered tunnel card will tell its own story. These make great gifts! What is a tunnel card?
A tunnel card is a charming, hand-crafted paper scene built from layers of cut paper arranged in a folded frame. Each layer adds depth and dimension, creating a 3D diorama effect that’s both whimsical and artistic. As you peer into the card, it feels like you’re looking into a tiny world—perfect for storytelling, seasonal themes, or meaningful keepsakes. In this class, you'll learn how to design, cut, and assemble your own tunnel card, with time to personalize it using your own style and message.
