NOTICE TO TICKET BUYERS: In the interest of safety, and due to a rapidly changing health environment, the Sisters Folk Festival board of directors has approved changes to the health and safety protocols for this year’s event. Attendance and participation at the 2021 Sisters Folk Festival will now require proof of vaccination. Additionally, any local or statewide masking mandates in place at the time of the event will also be enforced, with mask use highly encouraged in situations where 3’ of spacing is not possible. All seven of the festival venues are outdoors, some tented. Tent walls will be open where possible to allow for maximum air flow and ventilation.
Proof of vaccination will be required for all ticket holders, volunteers, vendors, performers and staff. Attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination upon check-in to the event and will be issued a non-transferable wristband that must be worn to enter all venues. The only exception to the policy is for children under the age of 12, who are not yet eligible for vaccination. Children aged 4-11 will be required to wear a mask at all times while inside event venues.
Anyone who has already purchased festival tickets and prefers not to participate due to the updated health protocols will be given the option to request a refund before September 1, 2021.
The last day to start the 2-dose vaccination process (with 4 weeks between doses) and be fully covered by festival time is August 19. The last date to receive the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine to be considered fully vaccinated by festival weekend is September 16.
We understand that some have made the decision to not be vaccinated at this time for personal reasons. Our staff and board must also make a hard decision on the best way to keep our audience, artists, volunteers and staff as safe as possible while still holding the event.
All the town will once again be a stage when the festival returns in 2021 after a COVID-19 hiatus! This year will feature 7 venues all over town, including Sisters Art Works, Village Green, the Open Door, Oliver Lemon's (formerly Melvin's), Angeline's Bakery, Sisters Depot and Sisters Saloon. For up-to-date lineup information, please visit https://sistersfolkfestival.org/artist-types/2021-festival.
This is a rain or shine event, so dress for the weather! Most venues will be tented and there will be plenty of heaters for the cool nights.
Refunds available through 9/1/21.
