Over the last 10 years, Markus Schulz has fused the individual musical identities of progressive, house & trance into his own creative, now inimitable hybrid sound. Through a unique alignment of headlining DJ sets, Armada and Coldharbour label output, and his highly prominent Global DJ Broadcast radio show, heโ€™s spearheaded a sea change revolution in the US trance scene. This success has been reflected in weekly sets played in front of many tens of thousands, a GDJB listenership up in the millions & one Beatport chart-topper after another.

He is an artist who has achieved international success in a career spanning over 20 years without dishonoring his musical essence or fans. With over 10 million album sales and 30 produced mix compilations, Johnโ€™s a proven musical pioneer whose essence lies in what his fans call โ€˜the J00F soundโ€™. The J00F sound is as unpretentious as the artist. It is best described as deep and textured progressively edged trance, in an electronic dance music style that is an antithesis to what is normally produced within the genre.
