“DeJaVu is an eclectic blend of jazz, soul, and latin vibes.  The band is built from a six piece ensemble playing the sounds of the classic standard jazz literature, classic R&B tunes, and progressive soul music. The members of this group come from various musical backgrounds including Jazz, Pop, Latin, Classical, and Funk and collectively, the members of DeJaVu have more than 150 years of performing experience. 

DeJaVu is not only a group of musicians but also a group of passionate entertainers. Audiences leave performances feeling like active participants. Purpose is a major intent of DeJaVu.  The purpose of this ensemble is not just to play music, but to provide medicine for the human soul. For this show, the band takes on a tremendous task of paying tribute to one of music's most prolific artists, Sade Adu. It is evident that each member of the band is heavily influenced by her music through the respect and attention to detail displayed. However, the band doesn't just aim to reproduce Sade's music but also add their own signature which makes it unique. As a result, Sade fans will be left satiated and thrilled from their nostalgic journey to Paradise.”
