Jazz N Soul Music and HNL Promotions present Blu Lights in The Sky featuring National Recording Artist Rhonda Thomas and Houston's own, Saxophonist Kyle Turner! Friday July 14th at the 366 Skylounge & Event Center.

Concert ticket holders will receive free admittance to the Old School Groove in the Sky Lounge.

Rhonda Thomas
Rhonda Thomas shares her unique vocal styling, her definitive sultry voice and her dynamic songwriting.
A New York City native and Atlanta, GA resident who performs nationally and internationally, Rhonda’s natural talent, professional drive, and amazing charisma have landed her in the presence of greatness many times and has opened numerous doors for her.

Rhonda Thomas was a featured soloist and background vocalist for Isaac Hayes for 11 years. She has shared the stage with Luther Vandross, Roberta Flack, The String Cheese Incident, Roy Ayers, Frank McComb, Dwele, Eric Roberson, Avery Sunshine and Sam Moore (of the legendary duo Sam and Dave) just to name a few.

Her boundless energy on stage enchants crowds as her voice exudes power and passion executed with precision. With her enchanting voice, Rhonda has stamped her name on the hearts of all that have witnessed her singing live.

Kyle Turner
A native of Houston Texas, Kyle Turner is a creative and innovative artist that has warmed the hearts of many with the sultry sounds birthed from his instrument the saxophone. During Kyle’s college years at Jackson State University and Texas Southern University he won numerous awards. By the 1990’s Kyle was performing on a regular basis and drawing large enthusiastic audiences regionally and nationally.

Kyle’s music career has afforded him to share the stage with such artist as: Luther Vandross, Regina Belle, Joe Sample, Bobby Lyle, Al Jarreau, Will Downing, Ronnie Laws, Marion Meadows, Bob Baldwin, Terence Blanchard, Eddie Levert and Kirk Whalum just to name a few.

Since his first solo release, “It’s Time” in 1992 Kyle has continued recording albums and he has been featured on recordings of many other artist. He also has his own radio show “The Jazz Club” which airs four days a week on KTSU 90.9 FM As a result of his success in the areas of music performance and music education Kyle was honored in the 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2016 editions of Who’ Who in Black Houston.
