Dutchtown Fall Productions: Totally RED!/Boeing Boeing

Join The Towne Players theatre department and the Dutchtown Middle School Drama Club for a night of exceptional performances on November 5th and 6th, 2026!

At 6pm, see the Dutchtown MS Drama Club present Totally RED! by Dinah Toups. This is a unique and fun retelling of the classic battle of wit and deception as told in the beloved fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood. We meet Red (who is nobody's fool) and the wolf (who tries to be cool) and granny—well, sometimes she's left in the dark! Totally RED! begins with a humorous version in storybook theatre style. The story continues with three- to five-minute retellings of sections within the tale, told in multiple styles: melodrama (The Perils of Being Miss Red); Elizabethan (Much Ado About Red); '80s hip-hop slang (REDz in the Hood); and avant-garde (Call the Moment RED). This play is as much fun for the performers as it is for the audience!

At 7:15pm, see the Towne Players present Boeing Boeing by Marc Camoletti. American playboy Bernard Lawrence is an architect based in Paris. He lives with his fiancée, TWA airline stewardess Gloria—and Lufthansa stewardess Gretchen—and Alitalia stewardess Gabriella. However, none of the women know about the other two, and this is exactly the way Bernard has designed it. This works just fine as long as their flight schedules only bring them home every three days. Bernard’s live-in maid, Berthe, is key in pulling off this ruse, managing three sets of clothing, photographs, bed linens, and food preferences. However, this perfect schedule is bound to run into trouble sometime. Things begin to unravel when there is a change to the women’s flight orders, making it increasingly difficult to keep them apart, and eventually bringing all three of them home on the same day. In addition, Bernard’s longtime friend from Wisconsin, Robert Lambert, has arrived in town unexpectedly. He is brought in on the outrageous arrangement and finds himself entangled in trying to help Bernard and Berthe pull it off during the course of a single day. Will they survive the day? And at what price? It just may be too much for them to handle!
