The Front Porch welcomes Koda & Marie for the first showcase in our 2026 "Locals Unplugged" series, featuring intimate acoustic sets from hometown favorites in our downtown listening room.
Hailing from Nelson County, VA, Koda Kerl and Marie Borgman have been playing music together for over a decade. Together they founded the popular "Blue Ridge Mountain Rock and Roll" band Chamomile and Whiskey. When Koda and Marie shed the band for a duo show, they often incorporate new songs as well as stripped down versions of C and W classics. With the arrangement of guitar, fiddle and vocals, the lyrics and harmonies come to the forefront and give fans a unique angle on the duo's catalog.
Peter Stringer-Hye is a Nashville-based Americana songwriter and former member of The Paperhead and Promised Land Sound, with music featured in Rolling Stone Country. His performances blend soulful storytelling, Southern grit, and intimate, emotionally rich songwriting. He opens the evening with a solo acoustic set.
This is an indoor, seated show. Doors open at 7 PM, and seats are first-come, first-served. Tickets are non-refundable.
