About the Event
The Grand Ole Opry multi-instrumentalist, fiddle-virtuoso, singer, songwriter, and 10-time IBMA Award Winner Becky Buller, with band her virtuoso bluegrass band, will take us on a journey with powerful story-telling & lighthearted virtuosity. The Becky Buller Band is Jacob Groopman on guitar, Wesley Lee on mandolin, Daniel Hardin on bass, and Ned Luberecki (2018 IBMA Banjo Player of the Year - 2023 IBMA Broadcaster of the Year) on banjo, who is a 2024 inductee into The American Banjo Museum’s Hall Of Fame! “One of the hottest bluegrass artists and fiddle players out there”, Becky Buller plays what she describes as “what the audience likes to hear” on the contemporary side of the bluegrass family tree. Becky and the band will be playing many of the songs she has penned as a celebrated songwriter, as well as covers of bluegrass legends that have influenced her. Claiming that she has traversed the globe-over performing bluegrass music to underwrite her insatiable songwriting habit, Becky has written songs for three Grammy award-winning albums: Crooked Tree Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway (2023); The Travelin’ McCourys The Travelin’ McCourys (2019); Laws Of Gravity The Infamous Stringdusters (2018). Her compositions can also be heard on records by Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent and Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, to name just a few.
