PTAFF is dedicated to delivering a memorable festival experience, by presenting provocative and entertaining films, that speak to our current social and political state, while engaging our guests in social change discourse. PTAFF 2023 will be two days of innovative panels, gripping features, shorts, narratives, and documentary films–collected and carefully curated from around the world. PTAFF includes an organized array of game-changing networking opportunities, for filmmakers and attendees.The festival will include a beautiful art exhibit, health and wellness activities, and phenomenal dance performances to celebrate HipHop’s 50th Birthday–HipHop, the essential driving force behind social and political movements for underserved and systemically de-valued communities around the world.
PTAFF 2023’s effort in “Igniting Change” is an immersive and transformative event that seeks to celebrate and empower change agents making a positive impact on society. This dynamic event brings together change agents, our visionaries, innovators, activists, and thought leaders from various walks of life to share their ideas, experiences, and explore solutions for a better world. Through a combination of impactful films, thought-provoking panels, interactive workshops, artistic expressions, and community engagement, our participants will embark on a journey of personal growth, become inspired, empowered, and remain equipped with the tools needed to begin the journey or stay on course as catalysts of transformative agency.
