Cancelled due to low registration: Community CPR AED Course

This course is Community CPR AED - Infant, Child and Adult certification and is open to ages 11+ and adults. This course offers an official certification card from the American Safety & Health Institute.

Please read ALL the information below before registering:

This is a BLENDED LEARNING COURSE (online course + classroom session.) The online video teaching component takes approximately 2 hours and is comprised of 28 lessons. Upon registering and within 24 hours, the course will be emailed for the participant to work on and complete prior to the class date. Participants must complete the online course before attending the in-person skills class.

Community CPR AED course topics: 
Sudden cardiac arrest
Recognizing an emergency
Legal considerations
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Using an AED
Multiple provider approach to CPR
Choking

Snacks/drink: Students may bring snacks and drink to class.  

After registering:
Within 24 hours (not automatic), registrant will receive an email from info@hsi.com/HSI Platform with the link to the online course, to be completed prior to the class on Feb 8. Watch for Subject Line: Link to Online Community CPR AED course.

After completion of the online course plus Feb 8 in-class participation, student will be issued the certification card from the American Safety and Health Institute, valid for 2 years. It will come in PDF format via email and may be printed and cut for wallet size, if desired. There will also be instructions on the PDF for downloading the student handbook.

Additional course: We have a Child and Babysitting Safety course on the same day, happening prior to this class, for youth ages 11-16. If interested, please go to our webpage at https://safetyfirstjacksonville.com/register/ to find the event registration link for that course.  

Note:  If you need/want to add Basic First Aid to your CPR AED course, please contact us directly to inquire BEFORE REGISTERING HERE. Contact Carrie at info@safetyfirstjax.com or call/text her at (904) 434-6032. Adding First Aid will add an additional 30 lessons to your online course and will cost an additional $30.  You would also stay an additional 30 minutes after the CPR AED course. Again, contact us (instead of registering here) so that we can charge you correctly and then send the correct course link.

Refund policy:
The base price fee of the course is refundable under the terms below.  The registration fees are non-refundable.

13-8 days before the start event, 80% refund. 
From 4-7 days before the event, 75% refund. 
From 2-3 days before the event, 50% refund. 
Day before and no-shows, non-refundable.
