Duncan MacMillan writes and performs heartfelt songs about real life, often bringing a comedic element into his lyricism. He cut his teeth in the Carolina Bluegrass Band at UNC, learning valuable lessons about performance and songcraft. His debut album, “Young Man Waiting”, was written in 2020 and finally recorded four years later in 2024, when he began performing regularly with his original music. Now, having amassed an impressive repertoire of original songs inspired by artists such as James Taylor, Jim Croche, and John Prine, Duncan’s live shows bring a tasteful mix of heartbreak, hope, and hilarity. His sophomore album is in the works, to be released later in 2025.

Drake Duffer is a musician and songwriter from Winston-Salem, NC. A classical guitarist by trade, he grew up playing folk and bluegrass in the NC piedmont, and enjoys weaving the two genres together. He is a founding member of the bands Early Gray and Discount Rothko.
