The holiday classic movie on the stage!
Nine-year-old Ralphie Parker desperately wants a Red Ryder-Action 200-shot Range Model Air Rifle for Christmas. Unfortunately, and hilariously, a few things such as a school bully, a leg lamp in a net stocking, some pink bunny pajamas, and a taunting dare to lick a freezing flagpole stand between him and his Christmas wish. A Christmas Story is a great addition to the holiday season tradition!
As an added bonus a silent auction will be held for the leg lamp in this production as a fundraiser for the Abbeville Community Performing Arts! The lamp will go to the highest bidder across all four shows. The winner will be announced after the Sunday matinee. By Philip Grecian. Based on the motion picture A Christmas Story, © 1983 Turner Entertainment Co., distributed by Warner Bros., written by Jean Shepherd, Leigh Brown and Bob Clark; and on the book In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash by Jean Shepherd.
