Is your pup the best kisser in Batesville? Rocking the cutest costume? It’s time to show off in the most delightfully ridiculous dog show this side of the Blue Ridge.


Bring your furry friend and your sense of humor to the 2nd Annual Batesminster, a lighthearted community celebration of dogs, their humans, and the unconditional joy they bring. Inspired by the quirky charm of Best in Show, this event is packed with tail-wagging fun... all for a great cause!


Tickets:



  • Only 50 entries available! Register early to secure your spot.

  • $25 in advance

  • $30 day-of (if any are left! Tickets are limited to only 50)

  • Each ticket covers one dog + one human handler

  • Spectators are FREE! Bring the whole crew and come cheer on the pups 

  • Raffle tickets available during the event: 1 for $10 or 3 for $20

After You Register:


Once your ticket is purchased, you’ll receive a short follow-up email to complete your pup’s official registration. It’s quick and fun... pinky swear.


Event Tips:



  • Water stations and puppy pools provided

  • Bring your own chairs and pop-up tents

  • All dogs must remain leashed and under control at all times.

  • Please clean up after your pup... we appreciate it!

Not entering the show? No problem! Spectators are FREE to attend. Bring your friends, your family, and your best cheering voice... everyone’s invited to join in the fun.


Why We’re Here:


A portion of the proceeds support Dogs Deserve Better Blue Ridge, a Central Virginia nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs in need. They provide vet care, food, shelter, fencing, adoption services, and second chances to dogs who deserve better.
