Americana Cheese Product opens @ 7:30 pm, followed by Richie Stearns & Aaron Lipp
Neo-primitive punk banjo legend Richie Stearns (The Horseflies, Richie and Rosie) teams up with some of his favorite powerhouse musical collaborators from the Finger Lakes, NY to bring you Red Dog, a tribute hat-tip to Red Dog Run, the old-time roots music passion project fronted by the late great Jim Miller of Western Centuries. Richie is joined by esteemed multi-instrumentalist Aaron Lipp (The Sam Grisman Project, The Wood Brothers), and Jed Greenberg (Donna the Buffalo) on bass to bring you an unparalleled fusion of sound and talent unique to the place they all call home. You’ll hear old time fiddle tune favorites to make your feet fly and your hair stand on end, and once-in-a-lifetime renditions of some of Richie’s most timeless and otherworldly original songs.
After a few years of musical stagnation, these three fromage inspired former members of the Old Time Snake Milkers have fermented their musical vision into a brand new experience. The Americana Cheese Product likes their music the same whey they like their curds, aged. They draw their inspiration from the dawn of the radio and the subsequent folk revival of the sixties and seventies. Like a fresh mozzarella, their sound stretches across genres. Their melodic Brie-like creaminess is counteracted by the stilton-esque pungency of their vocals. Featuring Colby Pegg-Joplin (Fiddle) Sam Stallings ( Banjo/Guitar) and Ryan Grant ( Bass)
This is a seated, indoor show. Seating is first come, first served.
