Anthony David is a Grammy-nominated singer‑songwriter whose warm baritone, acoustic soul style, and unfiltered storytelling have made him one of the most respected voices in contemporary R&B. Born in Savannah and shaped by the creative energy of Atlanta, David blends Southern folk, classic soul, and modern R&B into a sound that feels both timeless and personal.

 

He first gained national attention through his collaborations with India.Arie, co‑writing songs on her Grammy‑winning album Acoustic Soul. His breakout single, “Words” featuring Arie, earned a Grammy nomination and introduced a wider audience to his intimate, guitar‑driven approach to soul music.

 

Across albums like The Red Clay Chronicles, As Above So Below, and Hello Like Before, David has built a reputation for songs that explore love, identity, and everyday truth with honesty and depth.
