Mariana Bell presents Give it a GO!, a spirited modern take on 80’s and 90’s pop/rock nostalgia. C’villian Mariana and her local band lean into the playful synths and epic solos of yesteryear updated with her signature flair for lyrical twists and dynamic layered harmonies. A departure from earlier singer/songwriter material, her latest release captures the feel of classic romcom soundtracks with fresh and polished production.

Out on CD and vinyl in 2026, the new album delivers cinematic stories through fun and poignant songwriting and an uplifting musical experience. Her 6th studio team-up with co-producer Eddie Jackson (James Taylor) features performances by Kurtis Keber (Grace Potter, Aly and AJ), Jordan West (Grace Potter, Cam), Keeley Bumford (Dresage, Cam) in addition to guitar stylings by Zachary Ross and Rusty Speidel (Mary Chapin Carpenter), as well as Tim Clark and Emily Herndon.

Mariana began her music career in the world of folk, but explorations into Americana, pop rock, EDM and beyond make room for her crystal clear vocals and evocative lyrics to transcend into new forms over her many studio albums and tours. From open mic nights on UVA’s Corner to a degree at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she went on to tour from Europe to Australia, with bands in New York and Los Angeles helping hone her energetic and powerful performances.

The Charlottesville-based lineup features Emily Herndon (keys/vocals), Rusty Speidel (guitar/vocals), John Kokola (bass), Paul Rosner (drums) and Aly Snider, Becca Bauer and Tim Clark on horns. Special guests and local favorites John D’earth and Gina Sobel also shine on her new album and live show.
