Who is Alex Key? That’s what many people, millions actually, are asking themselves when they see the bus rolling down the road with his face on it, or a viral video on TikTok or Facebook featuring one of his songs.. However, they’re soon after finding out that Alex Key is a more traditional country singer, songwriter and Nashville recording artist who believes in reviving the classic country sound! Alex comes from a small town in NC called Wilkesboro where he grew up on multi-generation family farm listening to music inspiration of all kinds. His mom (and personal manager, Karen) raised him on some of the greats like George Strait, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, etc.. and this is where Alex believes his love for classic country began. Fast forward to present day; Alex's recently released album "Neon Signs and Stained Glass" debuted #1 on Amazon music and was featured as an amazon best seller with hits like "Tomorrow I'll Be Over You" and "Everything Must Go!" Rewind back to 2021, his spring album release “Barstools and Saddles” hit the top 40 on iTunes world wide country charts multiple times after songs like “The Fool That I Am” “Sleep Talking” and (just recently) "The Cowboy Stayed" went viral on TikTok! His music has now been streamed 15 million + times and featured on Major outlets such as CMT, Saving Country Music, Country Music People Magazine, and more.. Talk about coming onto the scene with a bang! Alex was also a large part of the revitalization of the North Wilkesboro Speedway, during which time he released his song "We Want You Back" and the video filmed at the speedway with cameos of NASCAR icons like Jeff Hammond and Bobby Labonte. With now over 600k followers across his socials, it’s safe to say he has large and devout fan base. Alex was nominated for JMA Male Country Artist of The Year, of which he was greatly honored to win and accept at the Grand Ole Opry House on October 23rd!
