The Folk Project Streaming Tuesdays concert series presents King Margo

King Margo is a magnetic alt-country/Americana act based in Nashville, TN. The heart of the group is duo Lucciana Costa and Rachel Coats. King Margo has been on the scene for years as a reputable source for excellent musicianship and sharp songwriting craft. Their album “Waters Rise” is filled with what Saving Country Music proclaims as “interesting and curious textures throughout, unique and unexpected approaches to songs, and inspired songwriting graced by soaring performances.”  In addition to releasing their own music, the girls have spent years on the road supporting Gabe Lee, Susan Werner and Jason Eady as opener, co-headliner and backing band. King Margo is a road-tested band through and through, and they are known for putting on both high-energy and thoughtful shows.
