Final Week of Tulip Season Update
We’ve completed our latest field check, and after this stretch of warm weather, our tulips have bloomed faster than expected. Because of this, our peak season arrived earlier than anticipated.
Our final week will run through April 26th. We expect our late-blooming tulips to still be near their peak, while many of the early and mid-season varieties are now finished or nearing the end of their bloom.
Tulips are truly at the mercy of the weather, and this season was a great example of that. With several days in the 70s, the blooms progressed more quickly than we had hoped. While we always plan carefully, Mother Nature ultimately sets the timeline and this year, she moved things along a bit faster.
As we head into the final week, we anticipate about 20–30% of the field remaining in bloom. While there will be fewer tulips, there is still plenty of beauty to enjoy. This time of year offers a different kind of experience, more space to explore, a slower pace, and a chance to take in the farm without the larger crowds. Our rhododendron garden is also just beginning to bloom and is a beautiful area to enjoy during your visit.
To close out the season, we’re offering 50% off admission all week as both a reflection of the lighter blooms and a heartfelt thank you for your support.
Here’s what to expect during your visit:
- Open daily from 10 AM – 4 PM (final week hours)
- Tickets are online only and must be purchased in advance
- Lighter bloom levels, but still color and photo opportunities throughout the fields
- Shops and select vendors will remain open for food, drinks, and local goods
- A more relaxed, end-of-season atmosphere across the farm
If seeing the tulips at their fullest is important to you, we recommend visiting as soon as possible before the final week or planning for next season. Otherwise, this is a perfect time to enjoy a quieter visit, wander the fields, and soak in the last moments of bloom.
Thank you for understanding that tulip farming, and farming in general is entirely dependent on the weather. We do our very best each season to communicate clearly and create a beautiful experience, and we’re so grateful for the kindness and support you’ve shown us.
It truly means everything to our family. Thank you for being part of our season and we hope to see you out in the fields one more time before we close!
Tickets are non-refundable.
