THE SATURDAY EARLY SHOW WITH SUMMER & ERIC

Summer and Eric met while teaching and having neighboring classrooms. They quickly discovered a shared love of music. It was not long before Summer convinced Eric to go to an open mic. That led to booking their first gig on the spot, and years later, they play almost 100 shows a year all over the DMV. Over time, they perfected their
harmonic and percussive sounds through covers but quickly moved into writing and recording original music. They've been voted as local favorites year after year and continue to be recognized for their driving percussion and acoustic harmonies.

Get Out Loudoun magazine said “The signatures of Summer & Eric are their powerful, tight, and syncopated harmonies and full-band sound, despite being a duo. Chandler strums guitar and sings while Drake takes on singing and percussion—including the stomp pedal, tambourine, and cajon.”
