The Tualatin Valley Oregon Music Teachers Association’s mission is to promote of the art of music, the advancement of musical education, and the appreciation of music among the people of the community. 

They are affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the oldest professional organization of independent and collegiate music teachers in the United States. 

Their district comprises of approximately 85 professional musicians, and offers lessons with a private piano teacher or an instructor of voice, strings, organ, or guitar.
