The Saylor Brothers are a dynamic jam grass and bluegrass fusion band rooted in Asheville, North Carolina, led by brothers Will and Ben Saylor. The project grew out of Asheville’s long-running John Hartford Jam (2014–2020), where the brothers built deep connections in the local acoustic scene and developed their high-energy blend of traditional bluegrass, original compositions, and improvisational “jam” elements. Their performances feature virtuosic picking, tight harmonies, a mix of originals and inventive covers, and an open-ended approach that keeps each set fresh and spontaneous. Beyond standalone gigs and festival appearances, the Saylor Brothers have become a consistent fixture in Asheville’s live music scene, anchoring a weekly residency at French Broad River Brewery. Deeply rooted in community and steeped in tradition while pushing creative boundaries, the Saylor Brothers continue to carry forward Asheville’s rich acoustic music legacy with energy, authenticity, and a distinctly mountain-grown sound--
