Founded by Ivan Neville, Ian Neville and Tony Hall and the late Nick Daniels III during Jazz Fest in 2003, Dumpstaphunk carries forward and modernizes the iconic New Orleans funk tradition. With newer additions Alex Wasily, Ashlin Parker, Deven Trusclair, Ari Teitel and Rebekah Todd, the band holds a fierce reputation for feel-good live performances and ingenious musicianship that ignites deep, gritty grooves within foundations of rock and jazz.
