Sam McGehee is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and teacher originally from Mesa, Arizona. Singing incessantly from a young age, he started piano and voice lessons at 7 and quickly built his life around music. In 2020 he received a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Northern Arizona University where he had the opportunity to accompany operatic soloists, direct vocal ensembles, and perform alongside world renowned artists such as The Real Group and The New York Voices.

Sam moved to Portland in 2021 to purse a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies at Portland State University and absolutely fell in love with the welcoming and nurturing community this city fosters. You can find him teaching lessons at PSU and around the community as well as on the bike or out in the mountains on a beautiful day.
