For the 11th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.

About this Landscape

Filoli Historic House & Garden, a National Trust for Historic Preservation site, was built in 1917 and opened to the public in 1975. The estate offers 654 acres of springs and redwoods in the ancestral lands of the Ramaytush Ohlone. This spring, visitors can stroll through the blooming gardens to discover Filoli's new troll created by artist Thomas Dambo; Rose Wonders adds a touch of whimsy to a landscape already rich with history.

Concert FAQs:

Accessibility
It is approx. 1,000 ft on paved and unpaved paths from the parking lot to the concert site. The concert site is on uneven grass.

Seating 
Bring your own chairs or blankets.
No seating provided.

Food & Beverages
Filoli's Cafe will be open with sandwiches, salads, and snacks.
No outside food or drink permitted.

Dogs
Not allowed at Filoli Historic House & Garden.

Smoking
Prohibited at all IN A LANDSCAPE concert sites.

Refunds & Cancellations
All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds unless IN A LANDSCAPE cancels the performance. The show goes on regardless of weather.
