About the Event
The Toronto Animation Arts Festival International (TAAFI) 2026 is a festival that takes place from April 8-12, 2026 in Toronto and is comprised of film screenings (both short films and feature films), an animation industry conference (TAIC), and several networking opportunities.

TAAFI 2026 is focused on celebrating the boundless imagination and collaborative spirit of the animation, VFX, and gaming communities. At TAAFI, we’re honoured to support an industry where everyone —from artists and storytellers to designers and developers — plays a crucial role in shaping the industry we’re building together. It’s a space where innovation, inclusivity, and creativity thrive together.

Together we imagine the industry we all want to work in and through this event, aim to empower and inspire those in our community to create their own projects, level up their skills and network, and re-invigorate the Canadian animation community to grow towards a future we will build together.
