IN A LANDSCAPE: Dunes Meadow Park (SOLD OUT)

For the 10th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.

Lesley Miller Dunes Meadow Park, a serene 200-acre coastal preserve, honors the legacy of conservationist Lesley Miller. Her dream was to provide the people of Gearhart with “a place to play baseball, football, have a picnic, or just sit, relax, and watch the sunset.” The park’s vistas offer an uninterrupted view of the Pacific coastline, ancestral territory of numerous tribes including the Confederated Tribes of Siletz, The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Clatsop-Nehalem Confederated Tribes, Chinook, Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla peoples.

Concert FAQs:

Seating 
Bring your own low back chairs or blankets.
No seating provided.

Accessibility
The walk to the concert site is between 200 ft and ¼ mile depending on available street parking.  The path is paved and on a slope.  The concert site is on a grassy lawn with uneven sections.  There will be no shuttle provided. 

Food & Beverages
Outside food and drink are permitted. Bring a picnic! No food will be available for purchase at this Dunes Meadow Park.

Dogs
Well-behaved dogs (max 6-foot leash) are allowed. Please bring and use waste bags to keep the site clean.

Smoking
Prohibited at all IN A LANDSCAPE concert sites.

Refunds & Cancellations
All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds unless IN A LANDSCAPE cancels the performance. The show goes on regardless of weather.
