JUNIPER LIGHTS
Born out of deep-rooted friendships and a love for music, Juniper Lights is a band that defies genre and expectations in the best way possible. In 2020, Frontman Jesse Trask, started writing new songs for the (then unnamed) project after releasing a solo EP with friends that grew up making music together. Officially formed in Northern Virginia, with members spread across the country (Nashville TN, Washington DC, Raleigh North Carolina, and Southern Illinois) the quartet creates a sound that is both familiar and refreshing influenced by alternative rock of the 90s, Indie pop/rock sounds of the 2010s, and Indie folk music of the early 00’s bands like Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Tame Impala, Sufjan Stevens and Grizzly Bear come to mind; you can hear the love for these groups in the recording and live performances of Juniper Lights. While creative ideas and inspiring sounds fuel the band's writing process, there is a little something for everyone to enjoy with the tracks of Juniper Lights.

What do you get when you combine Led Zepplin, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Neil Young and Rush? Well, nothing really, but those are some of the influences of the band members of Odd Suns. They combine forces and tastes to deliver thick slabs of heavy electric blues, blistering punk anthems, arty post-punk, sprawling jams and much more. It's al original!
